Dust off your ball gowns and your widest shirts n slacks... Pan-dimensional prom vibessssss. Awards will be given for special effort - and we mean it. Trophies for the best drenchers have been commissioned... Think Galaxy High end of term dance... Tight angles and BIG bangles... Glitter and dicky-bows...

Happening on a Friday this time so get the Saturday off work if you need to... actually, get the Friday, Saturday and Sunday off as this is a mission to re-polarize your neural sheaths. All taking place at the glorious DANCEHOUSE Theatre on Oxford Road...

'Manchester's number one dog-friendly comedy venue'
...There have been various ghost sightings, spectral experiences and unexplainable sensations over recent times in this gaff so be ALERT... Mind out for COLD spots on the dance floor and keep the safety OFF on your proton packs. Officially certified 'HAUNTED' by Patrick Swayze and Whoopi Goldberg (showbiz)....

We are extremely fortunate to be able to use this EXTRA SPECIAL venue so all comers be briefed : Please respect your surroundings or the theatre staff will set the ghosts on you! (It's Halloween - they WILL be about) - In all seriousness though... You will be given the showbiz exitshould you break the rules - not that you will, as you'll be too busy hob-nobbing at zero-g in the hefty performance space...

*Joining us on the night is JOHNNY AB STRACT! - Booked by Randy Marsh and Ste Spandex whilst trapped in a black hole a his regular throw down : MIDNIGHT DRIVE recently.... Been meaning to sort a jam out with Johnny for a while now.... I'll let Kickin' Pigeon spill the beans on this creature should you be unfamiliar with his habits....

It's with great pleasure that we bring one of Manchester's most respected underground acid militia, Johnny Abstract to our rambunctious soiree. As far as techno credentials go, Mr Abstract ticks all the boxes. Too many funny, messy and most importantly, top notch house and techno jams have cumulated from the epicentre of this guy's aura. He smashed the back end off Wet Play's precursor party, Detroit Public Radio about 8 years ago; after already establishing himself in the Manchester techno scene through numerous banging nights that seem to blur into an intergalactic haze (summet in the water back then...;) Recently flying the Proper Techno flag at nights Bohemian Grove and Midnight Drive, and proceeding a jaw-dropping lysergic romp at Audio Farm's Summer Festival; Johnny continues to keep at the forefront of forward thinking electronic musica, and is sure to give our Pigeon a run for his money keeping up the tEckNoid BoUnCe. Get ready to embrace the speaker stacks!.... KP x

Part of Johhny's traditional pre-set routine... Get it buzzed.
Added party upgrade:::::... SKANKY MAGIC are going to be deploying the fizzled elctronics and ramped up groove boxes, mainling us a 1500mics dose of 5D chaos. First displaying their narcotic prowess on 'Where Good Friends Meet #1' - our debut record; this will be the first performance for the mysterious duo and a chance to see their all encompassing technicoloured joyride spiral out of control in our very own rave bunker. Expect radioactive spring reverbs, juttering plasma-rhythms and post-euphoric, interstella haze. All in all; a very exciting prospect - buckle up and enjoy the journey...

As normal a plethora of WET PLAY PALS will be in attendance for your amusement....
